Job Title: Lead Consultant – Agile Scrum Master

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive programme planning knowledge to steer projects towards success, coordinating workshops, meetings, and managing stakeholder relations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues, and manage the dynamic planning process, aligning priorities with roadmap and team capacity.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define project scope and translate it into a practical release plan.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Agile methodologies, focusing on Kanban and Scrum, to guide teams and enhance processes.
  • Transform teams to focus on product-centric work, manage the product backlog, and ensure organizational alignment.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies and engage in conflict resolution, upholding core scrum values.
  • Forecast iteration deliverables based on reliable data, serve as an Agile practices coach, and develop practical plans for data and analytics projects.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in programme planning and management, roadmap definition, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Competency in backlog planning and tracking, capacity planning across multiple products, and utilization of various reporting metrics.
  • Experience in the parallel delivery of data and analytics products, including pipeline engineering, reporting, analytics, and data science/ML.
  • Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, and agile principles and practices.
  • Skilled in coaching teams to collaboratively deliver and follow agile principles.
  • Knowledge of iterative and incremental development fundamentals.
  • Expertise in various Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.

Desirable:

  • Skills in programme and delivery management, as well as stakeholder engagement and expectations management.
  • Practical knowledge of Scrum & Kanban practices in real-world settings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Pipeline Development, Azure Platform Capability, and Analytics Products.
  • Understanding of cloud-based platforms (PaaS) and the data and analytics delivery lifecycle.
  • Ability to implement agile development practices for a new team.
  • Experience or familiarity with Data and Analytics in a utility context is a plus.
